Recycled sailcloth bags are in our opinion not only practical
and hard wearing but incredibly fashionable too.
You'll find all
our designs are elegantly simple and effective as well as being
very durable. Our designs are equally popular with men as well
as women, teenage children are happy to head off to the shops with
our shopper bag so we're honoured to say they seem to have passed
the 'cool' test too.
We're constantly increasing our range of sailcloth
bags so keep your eye on this page for new items. We've had lots
of requests for a messenger bag and we will have a design sorted
for the autumn school term. Kit bags and tote bags are also on
the drawing board.
The Shopper Bag
Our take on a durable alternative to a handful of plastic supermarket
bags. Unlike most supermarket 'long life' bags ours are of course
made from recycled material so ours are twice as ethical! A truly
versatile design that like all good products is simple but effective.
It's not just useful for the supermarket run where Emma finds
it invaluable. Mark uses ours as a kit bag when he finds time
to nip out sailing. Our friend Hugh has idea's on his wife's
as a fish bag on his boat. Others live in the car ready to collect
chips as well as fish. It also makes a great gift. Maybe we should
run one of those photo competitions for 'There was I with my
shopper'.
It can be washed if something unpleasant spills in it and as
it is made of sailcloth the bag dries incredibly quickly. We
give a personally customised version of this bag free to all
individual supporters who donate a sail or wing and we often
receive emails or calls thanking us for supplying them such a
useful product in return.

The Bucket Bag
A century's old format which often formed part of a sailmaker's
apprenticeship, originally designed as a collapsable water bucket.
Fill it with water if you like but we think the size and shape
is just so versatile.
Perfect for a day out, you'll find room
for newspaper, sandwiches, wallet, keys, sun glasses, camera,
phone, iPod, map, book, water bottle and much more. Or great
as a peg bag, groovy waste paper bin or beer bag on the beach
or boat.
Made in the UK from recycled sail or wing with a 'tabled'
reinforced rim and stiffened composite sailcloth base. Two long
webbing handles hold the body of the bag at the perfect height
in transit but don't restrict access.

The Flat Sack
A handy sack: Shopping sack. Beach sack. School sack. Lunch
sack. Book sack. Camera sack. Laptop sack. Man sack.
This classic
design has so many uses and its simple bulk free design means
it packs away super small to tuck in another bag or case when
not in use.
Very complimentary to a neoprene laptop case for
hands free travel. Mark uses his regularly on his travels and
self indulgently designed the original regular sized prototype
to fit his beloved 12" Powerbook.
He added an iPod pocket
to the inside which also fits the iPhone, unfortunately for him,
he doesn't own either.
Featuring a coloured Reefer '09' logo
and matching soft cotton tape shoulder straps. We supply the
straps over-length and loosely knotted so you can adjust to length.
As an introductory offer, all flat sacks are supplied with a
really useful freebie. Rather than having to stow a water bottle
in the bag, the Reefer Collar Clip fits securely to any small
mineral water bottle and clips with the carabiner to
either eyelet on the bottom corner of the bag. Neat!
